Submit a Gem



No matter where you are in the world, you can submit diamonds, colored stones and pearls directly to any GIA laboratory location and be assured of consistent quality and service.  

WHERE TO SUBMIT

On-site services at each laboratory location vary. If you submit your item to a location where the requested service is not available, your item will be securely transported to the appropriate GIA laboratory and returned to its point of origin. Additional shipping charges will be applied in this instance. Additional taxes/fees may apply, including local taxes, depending on the country where your items are submitted.

Services Available in Hong Kong

Laboratory services are available in Hong Kong on-site for the following:

  • D-to-Z natural diamonds 0.15-3.99 carats*

  • Yellow natural diamonds 0.15-2.99 carats

  • Colored stones

  • Pearls

*Origin services not available in Hong Kong.

HOW TO SUBMIT

You can submit your stones to Hong Kong in person or via air or armored courier.  To ship your items, send to the Hong Kong laboratory location at:

SUBMITTING MULTIPLE STONES?

Save time during intake by submitting multiple items at once with import files. Complete these files and email them to the laboratory location where the items will be received, as specified in the instructions (PDF).
